EFFIMAT: A new generation of very high-performance, high-density vertical equipment.
Each EFFIMAT module has two working windows. Each window is served by an elevator that positions up to five containers at the same time.
The operative starts with 10 containers for picking. Once they have picked five items in one window, as the five items are picked in the second window, another five containers are moved into position in the first window.
Four to five times faster than a conventional vertical warehouse. When combined with a multi-order station, its capacity can exceed 900 lines/hour per operative.
EFFIMAT collects a number of containers from different levels on one trip of the forklift. As a result it only makes one vertical move, placing them in front of the working windows.
EFFIMAT extracts only the items sought. Other systems extract large trays containing dozens of items, of which usually only one is required.
Optimal ergonomics thanks to the fold-down working window, facilitating the display and handling of the contents of containers.
As an option EFFIMAT allows for integration with transport systems, which communicate directly with the elevators of the equipment. This allows containers to enter and exit automatically and automatic integration with other areas, e.g. the automatic entry of containers from Production.
